π©βπ³ Directions
1. Prep the Seafood

Lobster: Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of each shell lengthwise.
-
Gently pull the meat upward so it rests on top of the shell.
-
Season lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
-
Scallops: Pat completely dry with paper towels (this is key for a good sear).
-
Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Make the Garlic Butter

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
-
Add butter and olive oil.
-
Once melted, add garlic and sautΓ© 30β45 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
-
Stir in parsley, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using).
-
Reduce heat to low and keep warm.
3. Cook the Lobster
-
Move garlic butter to one side of the pan or spoon some over the lobster.
-
Place lobster tails meat-side down first.
-
Cook 2β3 minutes, then flip.
-
Spoon garlic butter over the meat and cook 3β4 more minutes until opaque and tender.
