- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. - Cook the steak
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a hot pan or wok.
Sear steak quickly (about 1–2 minutes per side). Remove and set aside. - Cook vegetables
Add remaining oil. Stir-fry onions for 1–2 minutes, then add peppers.
Cook until slightly soft but still crisp. - Combine & sizzle
Return steak to pan. Pour in sauce.
Stir and cook 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats everything. - Serve immediately
Best served hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Tips for Best Flavor
- Slice steak thin and against the grain for tenderness.
- Keep heat high for that “sizzling” effect.
- Want heat? Add crushed red pepper or chili oil (optional).
If you want, I can make this:
- Healthier / low-sodium
- Extra peppery like restaurant-style
- Chicken or tofu version
- Sheet-pan or stir-fry shortcut
