Directions
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare Pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make the Cake Base

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
