Here’s a solid, no-fuss recipe that actually tastes like crab.
🦀 Air Fryer Crab Cakes
Ingredients
-
1 lb lump crab meat (picked over for shells)
-
½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
-
1 egg, lightly beaten
-
¼ cup mayonnaise
-
1 tsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
-
1 Tbsp lemon juice
-
2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
-
Mix gently
In a large bowl, combine mayo, egg, Dijon, Worcestershire, Old Bay, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Fold in breadcrumbs, then gently fold in crab meat and parsley. Don’t overmix—big crab chunks = happiness. -
Form the cakes
Shape into 6–8 patties.
If the mixture feels loose, chill them in the fridge for 20–30 minutes (worth it). -
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly spray the basket and the tops of the crab cakes. -
Cook
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and heated through. -
Serve immediately
Hit them with extra lemon juice and serve hot.
